<p><span>Did you just do a 'make', to compile the hpuifilter file? Or did you do 'make install' as well? I'm hoping I can just 'make' and then copy the compiled file to where I need.</span></p>

Is it new ESC-codes added in late HP/Aruba versionens that make the login problem?<br>
It's possible that You need to patch hpuifilter.c and add filters for “[?7h”, “[1L”, and “[1M”.<br>
