PROBLEM DESCRIPTION :
Sun Ultra 60, Ultra 80, SunBlade 100, and SunBlade 1000 systems connected
to a 21-inch Sony Premium Color Monitor with Expert 3D Lite cards could
experience a jitter on left and right sides of raster or video image.
The root cause of this issue is due to the Expert 3D Lite Graphics card
not having 75 ohm drivers on the sync lines. In some cases, because
of tolerances on the framebuffer and monitor, it does not provide
the electrical current required to drive the monitor.
To Identify this problem online follow the instructions below;

Corrective Action was made available via ECO WO_22412 on November 12,
2001 releasing part number 530-3115-01. Corrective Action was put
in place in Enterprise Services via LEAP# 1886 on December 24, 2001.

CORRECTIVE ACTION :
Upon Failure replace 530-2917-01 with 530-3115-01 or add 530-3115-01
when no 530-2917-01 is present.
COMMENTS :
BILLING TYPE:
Warranty: Sun will provide parts at no charge under Warranty
Service. On-Site Labor Rates are based on how the
system was initially installed.
Contract: Sun will provide parts at no charge. On-Site Labor Rates
are based on the type of service contract.
Non Contract: Sun will provide parts at no charge. Installation by
Sun is available based on the On-Site Labor Rates
defined in the Price List.

i) In case of Mandatory FCOs, Enterprise Services will attempt to contact
all known customers to recommend the part upgrade.
ii) For controlled proactive swap FCOs, Enterprise Services mission critical
support teams will initiate proactive swap efforts for their respective
accounts, as required.
iii) For Replace upon Failure FCOs, Enterprise Services partners will implement
the necessary corrective actions as and when they are required.
