PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The Supported Hardware module in the SMCC Information Library document for
Solaris 2.6 shows support for the Ultra Enterprise 10000. The Ultra Enterprise
10000 should NOT be mentioned as being supported in the Solaris 2.6 release.
The SMCC Hardware Platform Guide Solaris 2.6 (chapter 1, page 17 Table 1-1),
similarly, shows support for the Ultra Enterprise 10000. This is also an
incorrect reference which needs to be amended.
CORRECTIVE ACTION:
IMPORTANT! IMPORTANT! IMPORTANT! IMPORTANT!
Disregard any mention of the Ultra Enterprise 10000 as being supported in
the above Solaris 2.6 documentation.
COMMENTS:
There will be no documentation update regarding this error. This FIN, as
well as a Product Note (805-3836-10) that accompanies the Solaris 2.6
Media Kits will be considered as the official acknowledgement of this error.
Support for the Ultra Enterprise 10000 will be incorporated in the upcoming
Solaris 2.6 Hardware: 3/98 release.
