PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:

After upgrading an Enterprise 10000 System from 250MHz processor modules
to 336MHz processor modules (Part# 501-4363-0X), upon reboot, the 336MHz
processor modules are NOT auto-configured into the system.

CORRECTIVE ACTION:

After upgrading an E10000 system from 250MHz processor modules to 336MHz
processor modules, the 'clock multiplier' must be manually changed from
3:2 to 2:1. *The procedure is as follows:

1. To change the multiplier value, from the SSP, run the SSP command:

                ssp% sys_clock -p two-to-one -s

*The sys_clock command must be run before the system
is brought up (Before POST is run).

2. To check the multiplier value, from the SSP, run the SSP command:

		ssp% sys_clock

COMMENTS:

To prevent a system crash, do NOT perform the sys_clock command on a running
system.

*For additional information, please reference to the E10000 System 333-MHz
Processor Upgrade Instructions document (pn 805-4500-1X). Copies of the
upgrade instructions can be obtained from http://marvin.west/pubs.
