PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Sun StorEdge LibMON 2.0 currently supports the following libraries:
o L140
o L400
o L1000
o L1800
o L3500
o DDS-3 Autoloader
Thus, customers wanting to run StorEdge LibMON/LibAgent 2.0 with an
L280 or L11000 library will not be able to do so.
In response to the above problem with StorEdge LibMON 2.0, StorEdge
L280 and StorEdge L11000, patches 107070 and 107071 have been
released to resolve the issue.
*NOTE This Updated FIN has been released with the intent to provide
updated information which references the release of new Japanese
language patch IDs.

CORRECTIVE ACTION:
To enable the use of LibMON 2.0 to monitor L280 and L11000 tape
libraries in the ENGLISH environment, follow the recommendation
shown below:
If and when a customer wants to use LibMON 2.0 to monitor L280 and
L11000 tape libraries, they are advised to performed the following:
1. Install Patch ID# 106898 "English language".
2. Make sure to read and follow the patch README file.
If and when a customer wants to use LibAgent 2.0 with L280 and L11000
tape libraries, they are advised to performed the following:
1. Install Patch ID# 106899 "English language".
2. Make sure to read and follow the patch README file.
To enable the use of LibMON 2.0 to monitor L280 and L11000 tape
libraries in the JAPANESE environment, follow the recommendation
shown below:
If and when a customer wants to use LibMON 2.0 to monitor L280 and
L11000 tape libraries in a Japanese environment, they are advised to
perform the following:
1. Install Patch ID# 107070 "Japanese language".
2. Make sure to read and follow the patch README file.
If and when a customer wants to use LibAgent 2.0 with L280 and L11000
tape libraries in a Japanese environment, they are advised to
perform the following:
1. Install Patch ID# 107071 "Japanese language".
2. Make sure to read and follow the patch README file.

i) In case of MANDATORY FINs, Enterprise Services will attempt to
contact all affected customers to recommend implementation of
the FIN.
ii) For CONTROLLED PROACTIVE FINs, Enterprise Services mission critical
support teams will recommend implementation of the FIN (to their
respective accounts), at the convenience of the customer.
iii) For REACTIVE FINs, Enterprise Services will implement the FIN as the
need arises.
