MANUAL: 805-0424-0X Ultra 10 Setup and Installation Guide

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:

Currently there are two versions of the 333MHz CPU module for the
Ultra 5 and Ultra 10 desktop system. They are described as:

a. The Sabre CPU module part # 501-5090-0X

b. The Sapphire Red CPU module part # 501-5568-0X

As a result, it should be noted that if the Sapphire Red CPU module
is installed on the Ultra 5/10 motherboard part # 375-0066-03 OR the
Ultra 5/10 motherboard part # 375-0009-09, SPECIAL ATTENTION must be
taken to ensure that the OBP version required to support the Sapphire
Red CPU module has been installed.

Failure to verify and install the latest OBP 3.19v4 on either Ultra
5/10 motherboard before the installation of a Sapphire Red CPU module
is installed, will render the system non-operational.

Approved ECO WO_16121 adds the new flash PROM 370-3886-03, and dash
rolls the Darwin motherboard to F375-0009-10 and the Darwin+ mother-
board to F375-0066-04 to enable support of the new Sapphire Red CPU
module up to 440MHZ .
