PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The Torque Tool Matrix does not address a specific product problem or
customer issue. It provides Field Engineers a reference document which
defines the correct Torque Bit Type/Size and Torque Setting for use on
each of the specific products listed in the matrix. Fasteners on
specific sub-assemblies and platforms in the Matrix require specific
Bit Types, Bit Sizes and Torque Settings to be adequately secured.
Field Engineers may need a reference document which defines the correct
Torque Bit Type/Size and Torque Setting for use on specific Products.
Field Engineers are confronted with different fasteners on products
which require installation and/or repair in the field. They need
a single point of reference for tool bits and torquing requirements
for each of the products.

the correct torquetool bit and torque specified for the product on
which the tool is being used.

i) In case of MANDATORY FINs, Enterprise Services will attempt to
contact all affected customers to recommend implementation of
the FIN.
ii) For CONTROLLED PROACTIVE FINs, Enterprise Services mission critical
support teams will recommend implementation of the FIN (to their
respective accounts), at the convenience of the customer.
iii) For REACTIVE FINs, Enterprise Services will implement the FIN as the
need arises.
