Sun Fire[TM] 6800: What happens if one power grid fails? |

The Sun Fire[TM] 6800 has two power grids:
Grid0 = PS0, PS1 & PS2
Grid1 = PS3, PS4 & PS5
If power grid0 fails:

Domains A & B will have no power
-
SB0, SB2, SB4, IB6 & IB8 will have no power
If power grid1 fails:
-
Domains C & D will have no power
-
SB1, SB3, SB5, IB7 & IB9 will have no power
Please Note: SB and IB boards can be assigned to any Domain in the platform. Thus you need to keep resources allocated to the same grid. This helps the Reliablity & Availability on a power grid failure.
