If the message light is lit on a StorEdge 99X0 you need to check either the Remote Console or the SVP for uncompleted sims.

In some cases there will be no uncompleted sims. Make sure there are no WIndows related popup error messages. These messages can also cause the message light on the DKC front panel to become lit.

One of these messages can be front32 encounter exceptions

The fix for these Windows related issues is a simple reboot of the SVP.

Once the SVP comes back online check to make sure the message light has gone off. If it has not then again check to see if there are any uncompleted sims.
