Sentinel reports are showing that patch 111853 is required even when the only isp2200 controller is onboard. As per Bug 4454917, the onboard controller does not have its own Fcode Prom and the update will fail with the following message:

Error: Driver interface FCIO_DOWNLOAD_FCODE failed
Error: FCode download failed: /devices/pci@8,600000/SUNW,qlc@4/fp@0,0:devct      

The only way to update this controller is with an OBP patch. If firmware for the controller has been recently released, the current OBP update may not contain it.
