Customers using ShadowImage or TruCopy to replicate volumes on StorEdge[TM] 99X0 series storage arrays have seen the following status, when running pairdisplay to check status of volume pairs.

Customer will see status stay at 99% indefinitely. Typically, customer is running Oracle, Sybase, or some other database which is accessing these volumes.

The status is expected to stay at 99% in cases where customers are running live (hot) databases on volumes that are used with ShadowImage or TruCopy. The state will never hit 100% if files are open on the volumes. This is not a dangerous situation- a pairsplit will complete successfully, P-VOL will go to writable status, and copy will be 100%, as seen below.
