When trying to power on a brand new expander, the following error message appears:
esmd: board not thermcalled
SOLUTION SUMMARY:
Explanation:
Thermcal config has not yet been run on the new expander. Unlike the E10K there is no thermcal_config command on the Sun Fire 15K. The expander is supposed to be thermcalled at the factory.
Action:
A new expander must be sent on site. In certain circumstances, however, PTS may be able to provide the SSE on site with the thermcal script to run on a case by case instance.
