If there is no alarm you see:
>show chassis alarms
No alarms currently active
If there are some alarms:
user at host> show chassis alarms
3 alarms are currently active
Alarm time Class Description
2000-02-07 10:12:22 UTC Major fxp0: ethernet link down
2000-02-07 10:11:54 UTC Minor YELLOW ALARM - PEM 1 Removed
2000-02-07 10:11:03 UTC Minor YELLOW ALARM - Lower Fan Tray Removed
