help with .cloginrc

Hello all,
    After Blake's response to my questions, I have set up a RANCID server, v2.3.1_1 and am having some problems.  It is running on FreeBSD 5.4.  Here is the output from a clogin and a rancid command.  The clogin command logs in, but doesn't execute the command.  The rancid -d command wasn't very revealing.  Can anyone offer any advice?  Thanks in advance.
