[rancid] Rancid newby - rancid-group

I am trying to configure RANCID for the first time...
 
When I type in /usr/local/rancid/bin/rancid-cvs I get the following
error:
 
/usr/local/rancid/bin/rancid-cvs:  line 59:  rancid-group:: coammnd not
found.
 
Any help is greatly appreciated!
