[rancid] When SSHing to devices end is not recognized on some devices

Hey All,

I know I have seen some threads on this but can't seem to find them.

When I am SSHing to some switches via rancid the end of the config is
not found although I see it clearly in the .raw file. The connection 
eventually times out and thus that device fails. If I use telnet I 
have no problem exiting properly. 

What is the fix to this? 
Patch SSH?
Patch Expect?
