What I've done is differentiated regions with dot. So you
could have eg. Switch.North, Switch.Italy, Switch.Dublin
or what not. Might not work for you, but at least it
allows you to create helper scripts to just look 
boxes from certain region or just boxes of certain
function from all regions.
