Alexander,

  Do you have two passwords after "add password" in ".cloginrc"?  The
second one is the enable password.  I'm running "rancid-2.3.2a9".

.cloginrc

add method sw*.hq.example.org telnet
add user sw*.hq.example.org {username}
add enauser sw*.hq.example.org {username}
add password sw*.hq.example.org {password} {enablepassword}
