I thought you had mentioned you're running 8.0(4).  That code is quite old and has some nasty VPN bugs among other things.  8.0(5) was released a few weeks ago and has all the rollups included in 8.0(4)32.  Anyhow, I would agree with John that it's probably a code issue.
