[rancid] Looking for docs setting up non-standard devices

I've got a handful of devices that don't have plugins built in RANCID
for backing up configs.  I'd like to find a good HOWTO or FAQ or
something on how to build plugins to support the devices.  Does anybody
have any links/docs to send me in the right direction?
