Hello,

I faced a problem while trying to use rancid with HP ProCurve 2900-24. Can you
please help me with the problem identification and fixing?

I used RHEL5/6 with rancid 2.3.5, 2.3.6, 2.3.8 (from the repo and built from
source).

The problem looks like inability to parse the output from HP, i.e.

spawn hpuifilter -- ssh -c 3des -x -l root 10.3.0.254

If I try just to login and _then_ manually type 'show time' it looks more
interesting:

============================================================================
[rancid at rancid ~]$ hlogin 10.3.0.254
10.3.0.254
spawn hpuifilter -- ssh -c 3des -x -l root 10.3.0.254
We'd like to keep you up to date about:
..... skip the banner .....
Press any key to continuesw-core# show time

Error: TIMEOUT reached
[rancid at rancid ~]$ show time
-bash: show: command not found
============================================================================

So it looks like commands are not sent to the HP terminal. Is it a system
problem (expect) or rancid bug?

Thank you in advance,
Serge
