Hi everyone,

I’m working on implementing Rancid in my company but I encounter some
issues with HP Blades m6220/m6348, while it works perfectly for others
devices (mainly Cisco one).

First, I didn’t install Dell package because these devices seems to work
like cisco one (the script works perfectly for some Dell PC8024), and the
m6220/m6348 seems very similar to me.

When, as user rancid, I run “rancid-run <group_name>” (where <group_name’s
router.db contains blades devices), it get stuck, the process never end

A device’s name configuration file is created (v1.1) but remain empty.

If I stop it with a break (ctrl+C), the process end and my configurations
files are saved (in v1.2).

Trying to get all of the configs.

That means I currently have no solution how to make rancid run through
crontab with these devices, as I need to manually kill the process
 Quite
embarrassing.

Thank you if you can help me with this issue.

Best regards,
