Problem Description:
Insert card (Read Me First, 802-6812-10) included with 370-2151 FRU
drive says that the torroid cable, 530-2316, is to used only with
Sparc 5 and Sparc 20 systems. This cable MUST also be used to correct a
noise sensitivity problem with the floppy drives in any Sun system.
Corrective Action:
Install the 530-2316-XX cable per the installation instructions on the
READ ME FIRST card included with the 370-2151 FRU when replacing a floppy
drive in any Sun system.
Comments:
It is the floppy drive's lack of immunity to noise that requires this
filter cable.
