PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Sun StorEdge LibMON 2.0 is currently supported on Solaris(TM) operating
environment releases 2.5.1 and 2.6.
Thus, customers wanting to run StorEdge LibMON/LibAgent 2.0 on Solaris 7
are unable to do so.
In response to the above mentioned problem with StorEdge LibMON 2.0,
patches 108014, 108015, 108016 and 108017-1 have been released
to the SunSolve database.

CORRECTIVE ACTION:
If and when a customer wants to use the English version of LibMON 2.0 on
Solaris 7, they are advised to performed the following:
1. Install Patch ID# 108014 and Patch ID# 108015
2. Make sure to read and follow the patch README file.
If and when a customer wants to use the Japanese version of LibMON 2.0 on
Solaris 7, they are advised to performed the following:
1. Install Patch ID# 108016 and Patch ID# 108017
2. Make sure to read and follow the patch README file.
COMMENTS:
Applying patches 108014, 108015, 108016 and 108017 to Sun StorEdge
LibMON will change the version number of the product to 2.0.2.

i) In case of MANDATORY FINs, Enterprise Services will attempt to contact
all affected customers to recommend implementation of the FIN.
ii) For CONTROLLED PROACTIVE FINs, Enterprise Services mission critical sup-
port teams will recommend implementation of the FIN (to their respective
accounts), at the convenience of the customer.
iii) For REACTIVE FINs, Enterprise Services will implement the FIN as the need
arises.
