How do I install a PCI card in the Netra T1 105? |

Steps for installing a PCI card in the Netra T1 Model 105
-
Remove the Server from the rack
-
Remove the rack mount brackets from both sides of the unit.

Remove the screw, at the back of the top access cover.
-
Remove the top access cover by sliding towards the back and lifting
up.
-
Remove the purple plasic cover over the memory in the middle center.
-
Remove the mid-baffle with slide by removing the screw in rear of
unit.
-
Lift the mid-baffle up out of the unit by pushing forward and up.
-
Slide out pci blank metal cover at the rear of unit.

Remove the plastic cover on the pci edge connector on the unit.

Insert the pci card in the edge connector in the unit. Be careful to
slide the card over the cdrom and power cables.

Slide the small mid-baffle slide all the way towards th front out of
the way of the pci card.

Install the mid-baffle back in the until.
-
While applying pressure on the mid-baffle toward the rear of the
unit on the section near pci card backplate, reinstall the rear
screw.
-
Once the screw has been installed slide the mid-baffle slide toward
the pci card so it snaps in the small hole on the pci card.

Replace purple plastic cover over unit memory.
-
Reinstall the top access cover and reinstall rear screws.
-
Install rack mount brackets.

Install back in the rack.
