Description |
VLAN is only supported on 1.3 Sun Ray[TM] software. It is not supported on 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2. What is VLAN ? VLAN is a single physical network logically partitioned into multiple segments. Each segment behaves as a separate, unconnected network. VLAN is configured on the switch side. No configuration is needed on sun box. Configure VLAN grouping by 1. Ports 2. Mac Addresses 3. IP Subnets 4. Other Vendor Dependent Schemes There are few differences between VLAN and Dedicated Interconnect as far as Sun Rays are concerned.
