Enterprise server gives the following warning messages at boot time
after going to Solaris 2.6:
WARNING: Firmware does not support CPU power off
WARNING: Automatic CPU shutdown on over-temperature disabled
WARNING: Firmware does not support CPU restart from power off
WARNING: The ability to restart individual CPUs disabled
SOLUTION SUMMARY:
Use patch 103346 of at least rev -06 to update the flashprom
so that the system has OBP version 3.2.8.
This version of the flashprom adds functionality to support
processor power control for Solaris 2.6.
