Description

Cu has an E450 with two QFE cards installed.  Cu upgraded system from Solaris 
2.5.1 -> 2.6 and then downloaded and installed the Solaris 2.6 jumbo cluster 
patch.  After rebooting following upgrade, of the seven qfe interfaces that 
were being used, three interfaces were down (no link lights either).

	qfe1	-	not working
	qfe2	-	
	qfe3	-	
	qfe4	-	not working
	qfe5	-	
	qfe6	-	not working
	qfe7	-	unused

SOLUTION SUMMARY:

1.  In the OBP prom, set the local-mac-address to 'true'
2.  install patch 106532-01
3.  reboot

cu is plumbing up interfaces by hand

ifconfig -a
says all interfaces are up, but link lights are still off...

set in prom:
local mac address to true

Cu found another machine that had 106532-01 installed; he was able to apply 106532-01
to this system. Cu then rebooted. Now all link lights are on, and all interfaces are
working. Cu said thanks! ticket can be closed. Thanks to Huan Tran for his on-call
support.

Cu suggested that patch 106532-01 be added to the 2.6 jumbo cluster patch.
