vxpartrmall:/tmp/vxvm/<number> can't open error on cluster 2.X
This error has been seen on sonomas only. However we run into a case
where it happened on A5000 photon disk array in a two node cluster E6500 E4500.
SOLUTION SUMMARY:
The diskgroup that was part of the logical host could be force imported only.
The plex status is disabled. Vxvol cannot start volume.
When trying to readd it with vxdiskadm the following error occours:
vxpartrmall:/tmp/vxvm/159458 cannot open
This was caused by a reservation on this disk held by the peer node at a time.
The scsi2 reservation is part of the quoruming process on sun cluster.
At this point the easiest fix was to deport the disk group import it
on the other side and readd the disk there with vxdiskadm or "vxreattach -r"
After the volume is started and diskgroup is ok logical host can be started
on the appropriate host.
