| Description |
When booting a Sun Blade 1000 from the cdrom which contains Solaris 2.8 HW 10/00, the system will start installing the software. After answering the language questions, the system will attempt to start open windows and get the following error:
/usr/openwin/bin/xinit: Connection refused (errno146):
unable to connect to X server /usr/openwin/bin/xinit:
No such process (errno3): Server error.
SOLUTION SUMMARY:
Connect a mouse to the USB port.
When the system boots from cdrom it probes the USB port and if the mouse is not found, you get the error because the mouse is not connected to the port.
