Description |
'utxconfig -p on' gives the following error message:
"internal error could not add/modify Xconfig record "
There are several LDAP errors in the log file.
SOLUTION SUMMARY:
The root cause of this problem is incompatible sunray1.1 and sunray1.2 schemas. This usually occurs when there is a mixed 1.1 and 1.2 failover environment with 1.1 as the primary. Running utxconfig on the 1.2 server will fail to update the primary (sunray 1.1) due to the LDAP schema incompatibility. Although very unlikely, another possibility is that a system was not upgraded from 1.1 to 1.2 properly, thus leaving the old LDAP schemas on the system.
Use "utreplica -l" to verify that there is no failover group of mixed Sun Ray releases.
This problem should not happen once all their servers have been upgraded to 1.2.
