The above shows that there is a LSU c5t0d0 that contains two raid 5 units striped together
* Are any lights not green on the any of the disks?
* Do a format analyze read on c5t0d0?
Which disk does not blink that is part of the LSU? This works best if you know exactly what disks were selected to be part of the LSU.
We know the failed disk is d1b2t1d0
d1 indicates the raid card d1
b2 indicates which one of the three buses on that card that the disk is accessed through
b0

b1 b2
* t1 is the target on that bus
* d0 is the lun 0
If we look at a E450 chassis we see 20 drive slots starting at 0 at bottom left to top right 19.
There is a repeating pattern for the target number (0, 1, 2, 3). . From info above we know the target number is 1. So it could be any of the disks with * next to them.
The format analyze read did not yield the desired info since all 8 disk in cx blinked. And we could not remember which 9th disk we included in in the LSU. What else can we do?
Last resort: Take the E450 apart and card following the cabling from raid card 1 and bus to the drives.
