| Description |
Some Sun Blade 100 systems may fail to automatically restart subsequent to site power failures and resumption. (AC power cycling) The systems then must be re-started manually.
SOLUTION SUMMARY:The problem lies within the power management unit (PMU) circuitry on the system board, which is responsible for latching the current state of power - standby or on. PMU register values were being intermittently corrupted during the power cycle event. The system board PMU circuitry has been modified.
Upon failure, replace:
