I resolved the problem with the 6000's and 4000's. Cat5 instead of Cisco was the correct type to use in the router.db. Is there any way to get RANCID working with a Catalyst 1900? Is it possible to hack a "recorded" expect session with a 1900 that gets me to the command line into a RANCID script so that it can work? Mark
