[rancid] clogin cannot send commands after logging in to cisco 4900m

Hi all, I can run clogin and get into the router but if I try to hit 
enter even the prompt never returns. Commands exhibit the same behavior.

It's rancid 2.3.2~a7-2, the packaged version for Ubuntu 8.04 LTS. Any ideas?
