[rancid] Why does RANCID continue to show old diffs?

Hello everyone,

I've just finished setting up email from our RANCID server, and we've started getting messages from it.  However, every diff email contains every diff for every device I've added over the last few days, it never quits notifying us of the same changes.  I don't think this is expected behavior: I would expect RANCID to display a diff one time and move on.

Does anyone know what is causing this behavior and what to do about it?
