[rancid] New Installation

Hello guys,

I'm trying to get rancid working on red hat enterprise machine, and i'm
running into some issues that i'm hoping you guys me with. I have been
using as a guide this link

Problem: no backups are created.

When i run the command ./bin/rancid-run a log is created but there is no
errors or anything? I also don't see where a backup config file was made?
what could I be missing? please see below the output.

10.2.9.9:cisco:up
[rancid at rancid ~]$
