Notes

1. The minimum operating system is 2.5.1 HW: 11/97 or 2.6 HW: 3/98.
   Solaris 2.5.1 is no longer available on new systems.
2. The Operating Environment CD is required to install 2.5.1 and 2.6.
3. The following patches are required:
   Solaris 2.5.1:   103640 and 104595
   Solaris 2.6:   105181
   Solaris 7:   106541
   Solaris 8:   108528
4. OBP 3.2 Version 29 is required.
5. Mixing module speeds within a system is not supported.
6. The E4500 requires CD-Tray EMI Kit 370-4428, option X990G.
7. The E5500 and E6500 require Front Door EMI Kit 370-4429, option X991G.
8. Clock Board 501-5365 is required.
9. Ethernet auto-negotiation is not supported in 2.5.1 or 2.6.

4. System Boards 501-4347, 501-4786, and 501-4903 are not compatible with the 466MHz UltraSPARC module.
