Notes
- The minimum memory requirement is one DIMM in U2.
- The memory installation sequence is U2, U3, U4, and U5.
- Each bank addresses 512MB of memory with 500MHz UltraSPARC.
- Each bank addresses 1GB of memory with >=550MHz UltraSPARC.
- OBP <=4.5v0 incorrectly reports errors as DIMM1 (U2) to DIMM4 (U5).
- OBP 4.5v9 correctly reports errors as DIMM0 (U2) to DIMM3 (U5).
UltraSPARC Notes
- The 450-700MHz processors were originally named UltraSPARC IIe.
- The 550-700MHz processors were renamed UltraSPARC IIi in 2002.
- The System Board was designed for 450-700MHz processors.
- The Sun Blade 100 was only sold with 500MHz UltraSPARC IIe.
- The 450-550MHz UltraSPARC IIe addresses 512MB per bank.
- The 550-700MHz UltraSPARC IIi addresses 1GB per bank.
