Components Affected Description

U
SunPCi II (375-0131-04) and SunPCi IIpro (375-3051-01) cards SunPCi II and SunPCi IIpro cards may not respond after rapid/successive power cycling.

U
Rear Panel (540-4281-01), PCI cards Any PCI card may not seat properly in an Enterprise 220R and Enterprise 420R systems because the PCI bracket will stop against the the metal retaining bracket at the lower portion of the the Rear Panel, and the screw at the top of the bracket will not go all the way down. This will cause the PCI card not to be recognized by the system and will therefore render that PCI card inoperable.

U
D.C. Power Cable (530-2864-02), DDS-3 tape drive When removing the pre-installed CD-ROM drive and installing the DDS-3 tape drive option (X6286A) in either the Enterprise 420R or Enterprise 220R chassis you will find that the peripheral D.C. power cable (530-2864-02) is too short to allow the tape drive to be connected to D.C. power.
A0164-1
C
FC100/P FC-AL PCI Card (375-0040-02 or below) A host system using the 375-0040-01 or -02 FC100/P FC-AL PCI card to attach to FC-AL storage (StorEdge A5x00 and A3500) may experience loop errors, which may affect data access to that storage. In extreme cases, this can result in the host losing its connection to the storage completely. However, it is more common for the loop errors to be intermittent initially, perhaps becoming more frequent over a period of days or a few weeks. The failures are sometimes sensitive to the data pattern on the FC-AL loop, so they are not always reproducible with current diagnostic software.
